It’s a real thing on social media: the disco ball mood adds some fun to every room! Make your own disco ball vase transforming a basic plastic vase.

SUPPLIES
- Recycled plastic vase
- Awl
- Self-adhesive mirror mosaic tiles
- 4 metal chains about 60 cm long
- 4 mini screw carabiners
- Colored ribbon

Imagine drawing a cross in the center of the vase. Mark the points where the ideal cross intersects the circumference, these will be the points where you will have to make the holes. Make 4 holes around the edge of the plastic jar, with an awl. If possible, use an awl that makes holes the same size as your mirror tiles.

Start by covering the jar with self-adhesive mirror tiles. You can buy ready-made disco ball mirror strips.
This will be an exercise in patience and precision. Use it as a moment of mindfulness! Be precise, the result will be better if the small mirror tiles are as regular and close as possible.

Be careful, leave the holes made with the awl free.

Open the screw carabiner, thread the end of a chain through, then insert the screw carabiner with the chain into one of the 4 holes on the jar. Repeat for all 4 holes.

To make the chain prettier and more fun, insert a piece of colored ribbon inside the chains, you can choose the color you like most, secure the ends with a simple knot.

The DIY is finished! Hang the vase in a place where the vase can be hit by light, you will be surprised by the play of light it will make!
