It’s easier to keep a well-organized room tidy. A good organization help make a space pleasant and encourage you to put everything back in its place.
And of course aesthetics are also important! The bathroom is often a room that looks more messy with all the jars and containers of makeup and products. Do you want to keep the things you use most often in plane sight but you want a tidy organization? Use convenient containers to keep them in order like the new Softers baskets collaction from Curver. For an even more orderly effect, don’t want anyone to see inside? Here’s a simple DIY to make them practical cork stoppers.

SUPPLIES
- Curver Softex container
- Cork sheet
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Awl
- Leather cord
- Wooden bead

First, cut out the container shape to the correct size. Place the Softex basket on the cork sheet and trace the outline of the upper edge with a pencil, then cut out.

Using the ruler, locate the center of the cork template. Mark it with the pencil and make a hole with the help of the awl. Be careful!

To make it easier to open and close the lid, we now make a small knob. Create a small loop with the leather cord and thread it through the wooden bead.

Then insert the ends into the hole in the cork lid, and secure at the back with a knot.

The lid is ready, you can have fun making several of them, leaving the cork natural or coloring it. You can also play making different knobs with beads and colored ribbons. You could make one of each color for each member of the family, this way everyone can easily recognize their own basket.
