SUPPLIES
- Infinity Box
- Colorful wooden beads
- Wooden letter beads
- Twine
- Colored wool
- Scissors
- A piece of cardboard as tall as you want the tassel to be
You can decorate your Infinity Box using wooden beads and make a playful bikini box. We will use the holes in the box to create the decoration.
Thread the twine into a hole of the box and secure it with a knot on the back.
We are going to create a garland on the side of the box. Choose your favorite bright colors to bring Summer vibes into the DIY, thread the colored beads onto the string.
When your garland makes a nice curve thread the twine into another hole of the Infinity Box and secure it with a knot on the back.
In order to add some more fun repeat the steps with another shorter string, you’ll have a very nice double garland. Secure the thread into the same holes as before. You can alternate the colored beads with the “Bikini Box” writing formed with the lettered beads.
Another very simple and cute decoration is to create a yarn tassel, here how to do it:
Wind the yarn around the board in taut loops until you reach the desired fullness. Pay attention: the tassel will be twice as full as the loop around the board.
Lay a piece of thread horizontally through the work surface and secure it at the top with a knot.
Slide wound thread off the board, cut through the looped ends with scissors, and adjust into a tassel shape.
Wrap the tassel neck with another thread and secure with a knot. Trim tassel ends.
Complete with a couple of colorful beads and tie it to the box.
